My partner and I went here for the first time and boy were we thrilled!! Sarah directed us to the house's favorite drink, the Lava Java, and we both immediately regretted not ordering the larger sizes Everyone who walked through that place was happy and smiling and welcomed by the great staff there. Through happenstance, we found ourselves speaking with Brook and it was such a joy to hear her story. The Lavalette locals and all the year round visitors are lucky to have this gem in their backyard!
This coffee place is hands down the best on the island. The staff is incredible, always greeting you with a friendly smile, which makes every visit enjoyable. The coffee here just hits the spot. My go-to is the mocha latte, and it never disappoints. I also love the new logoed cups—such a nice touch! Thank you for being the best and for consistently making our mornings brighter! Highly recommend this gem for your daily caffeine fix!
Came with a large group of friends during a weekend trip. Super large coffees, a bunch of flavors and amazing service. Such a fun shop and vibe. Food itself was nothing crazy but I was not disappointed. Ask for extra pumps or cold foam if you like your coffee sweet- my cookie butter iced coffee was fairly subtle but yum! Will come back to try the latte and baked goods.

Update- on our second visit our lattes and egg sandwich were wonderful, and our server Judy could not be nicer, such a pleasure Every coffee option under the sun. We tried the Lava Java (mocha) and sea salt caramel. While delicious, a bit too sweet for our tastes, but next time we’ll go a little more traditional to really taste the coffee. A very cute place with friendly service given how busy they are.
Love Lava Java! The bacon egg and cheese is one of the best I’ve ever had and the staff is exceptional! Absolutely a must go!
